There is a new option under Main > Global Options > SQL Tools (Tab) that allows you to move any appointments to the history table. This is allows your Appointment Booking screen to be kept fast and current with only data that it needs to have available and also allows the old data to be locked to prevent further updating.

It is easy to use. Simply select a date and click "Send to History" . It will move all Appointments that were scheduled for any day prior to the selected date to history. As simple as that you can speed up your Booking screen and save your data for future use (and future reports).

One note, any data saved into the History will be saved using the names of items AT THE TIME of the move. For instance if you move items to history that are for a staff member named "Jan Smith" and later she changes her name to "Jan Johnson", the appointments will still be saved into history as "Jan Smith". The same applies for Guests, Appointments, Rooms, and Activities.

We have recently updated our web servers and have changed the location of the release page.

You can find it at http://webservices.execu-tech.com/execuspa/ Click Install to get the latest upgrade package. It will install as an update to your current installation and nothing will need to be reset.

With the new release there are several additions to the update list. First being Spa has been modified to use Crystal Reports 2008. New features will be getting added to the reports that are located in the Spa program.

Be sure to keep sending in your error reports as you get them so that our development staff can pinpoint any problems in deployment with the new architecture. Our staff depends on your feedback to help shape our project.

There are two new reports available under the "Reports" menu button. Be sure to sign up for the forums and post your feedback and suggestions for coming reports and updates.

If you will take a look at the Reports > Rooms > Room List it will generate a report showing your rooms and available treatments for each room. This is the first of many coming reports for SPA.
